Dumpster Rental FAQ
Renting a dumpster for the first time comes with questions. Here are straight answers to the ones we hear most. If yours is not here, call or text (602) 770-3500.
01
Sizes and pricing
We offer two roll-off sizes: a 12-yard dumpster for smaller projects like garage cleanouts, yard waste and minor renovations, and a 20-yard dumpster for larger jobs like major renovations, roofing, commercial construction and big cleanouts.
A 12-yard dumpster starts at $305 and a 20-yard dumpster starts at $330. The final price depends on the dumpster size, the rental period, the delivery location and the type of debris. We give you a clear quote up front with no hidden fees.
No. Our pricing is flat-rate and transparent, with no hidden fees and no fuel surcharges. Extra charges only apply if you go over the weight allowance, keep the dumpster longer than planned or need extra hauls, and we explain those before you book.
Estimate how many pickup truck loads of debris you will have. Around 4 to 5 loads usually fits a 12-yard. Eight or more loads calls for a 20-yard. Also consider weight: heavy materials like concrete, tile and dirt hit the weight limit before the dumpster looks full. When in doubt, call us and we will help you choose.
One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet. A 12-yard dumpster holds about 324 cubic feet of debris and a 20-yard holds about 540 cubic feet.
02
Rental period and scheduling
Rental periods are flexible. Whether you need the dumpster for a day, a weekend, a week or longer, we set the rental to match your project timeline.
Yes. Call or text us and we will extend the rental or schedule an additional pickup or swap based on availability.
Book online, call or text (602) 770-3500, or use the contact form. We coordinate a delivery date that works for your project, and you contact us when you are ready for pickup.
It helps, especially during busy times like spring cleaning, summer renovations and roofing season, when availability can get tighter.
03
Placement and permits
Yes. Tell us where you want it, such as your driveway or a specific spot on a job site, and our driver places it there, taking access and space into account.
Yes. Many properties in the North Valley have gravel or dirt access, and we place dumpsters on them as long as the truck can reach the spot safely.
In most cases, no permit is needed if the dumpster sits on private property like a driveway or job site. If it has to go on a public street or right-of-way, the city may require a permit. We can advise you based on your location. HOA communities may also have their own rules.
04
What goes in the dumpster
Non-hazardous waste, including household junk, furniture, small appliances without refrigerant, construction and renovation debris (drywall, wood, flooring, roofing shingles, cabinets), yard waste and cardboard.
Hazardous materials and chemicals, paints and solvents (unless fully dried), asbestos, medical waste, batteries, tires, electronics, refrigerators, freezers and AC units, propane tanks, gasoline, motor oil and other fuels.
Weight limits depend on the dumpster size and the type of debris. We explain the weight allowance when you book so you stay within it. Going over can add disposal fees.
Small amounts, yes. Large amounts of concrete, brick or dirt get heavy fast and can exceed the weight limit, so call us first.
